I’m a chaotic pantster, or a morning plotter, a chronological sunset writer, or some startling combination of a half-dozen other binaries set up to categorise writers into types. But that’s not the question I’m asking this time.

Today, I’m looking for a fundamental answer that goes deeper than your process. I’m asking what it is about writing that delights you. I’m asking which elements of craft are most likely to spark something new in you and your muse. Maybe you already have an idea of the type of writer you are.
